Who is responsible for this site

This website is operated by Brussels Legal Partners S.P.R.L., Rue de la Loi 200, 1040 Bruxelles, Belgium. The operator decides which cookies and similar technologies the site uses and why, and is responsible for them. You can reach us at info@company-in-belgium.com.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, keep small pieces of data on your device in the same way. This policy covers all of them and treats them alike. Some are needed for the site to work. Others measure how the site is used, and we set those only after you agree.

Cookies and similar technologies we use

Microsoft ClarityRecords how visitors move through pages, for example clicks and scrolling, to find parts of the site that confuse readers. It runs for every visitor. Without your consent it sets no cookie on this site and treats each page view as a separate, unlinked session; Microsoft's own servers (clarity.ms, bing.com) may still set their identifiers, such as MUID and CLID, in your browser when the script loads. With your consent it also sets its cookies on this site (_clck, _clsk) to link the pages of a visitAnalytics: no cookie on this site without consent; Microsoft identifiers on its own domainsStated by Microsoft in its documentationMicrosoft

Nothing except the consent record is stored until you choose. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

  1. Use the banner. On your first visit, choose to accept analytics, refuse it, or open the settings. If you refuse, Google Analytics is not loaded and Microsoft Clarity sets no cookie on this site.
  2. Change your mind at any time. Select "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to open the banner again and change your choice.
  3. Use your browser. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary items may stop a form from working.

Third-party services

Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google and Microsoft Clarity by Microsoft. They process the data they collect on our behalf, and that data may be handled outside the European Economic Area. Their own rules describe what they store: see how Google uses cookies and the Microsoft Clarity terms. If you refuse analytics, Google Analytics is not loaded and Clarity runs without cookies on this site; Microsoft may still set its own identifiers on its domains, which your browser's third-party cookie settings control. Ahrefs Web Analytics, provided by Ahrefs, counts visits without cookies or identifiers and runs whatever you choose. Cloudflare provides the form check described above.

Changes to this policy and how to reach us

How we handle personal data more widely is set out in our Privacy Policy. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
